Pride Weekend Is Coming!


Pride Kabbalat Shabbat & Dinner @ JCC Denver

Friday, June 21, 6:00 p.m.

Organized and led by LGBTQIA+ leaders in our community, Pride Shabbat will start with an energetic Kabbalat Shabbat service that is built around celebrating the joy of Shabbat and the joy of Pride. Everyone is welcome to join for Kabbalat Shabbat, although registration is requested. A live stream of this service will be available. Shabbat dinner following the service is an additional fee.

This year, Rodef Shalom is ordering tie-dye t-shirts to show our Pride during the parade. T-shirts are $10 each and come in a variety of sizes. Ordering and wearing the t-shirt is optional. All t-shirt orders are due on Friday, May 31 by 5:00 p.m. We may have some extra t-shirts but size selection will be limited. Parade registration closes on Friday, June 14. Attending the Parade is free but registration is required.

The film includes never-before-heard eyewitness accounts from released hostages, survivors, and first responders. Join the film’s leader, Sheryl Sandberg, and Sheila Katz, CEO of National Council of Jewish Women, as they discuss the importance of bearing witness, lifting up the silenced voices of the October 7 attack, and demanding justice. Presented by the Dr. Helen Morris American Jewish Experience in Medicine Program at the CU Center for Bioethics and Humanities.
