Early Childhood Education Center

Mission & Philosophy

Established and licensed by the state of Colorado in 2001, our preschool is dedicated to whole child development—cognitive, emotional, physical and social. Our small classes support optimal play-based learning and our curriculum is infused with constructivist Reggio Emilia practices of purposeful spaces that provoke children's thinking, learning, sense of family and community.

As part of our ongoing commitment to a high-quality early childhood program, Rodef Shalom’s preschool is Qualistar rated and participates in the Denver Preschool Program.

Vision

Our safe, nurturing and respectful environment provides each child the opportunity to thrive, grow and have fun while developing a curiosity for and love of learning. As children gain awareness of who they are as individuals and members of a larger community, we teach the language of cooperation, negotiation and compromise to promote respect across diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.

Program Overview

Classrooms:  8 weeks through Pre-K

Hours:  Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. & Friday 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Extended Care:  Monday–Friday 7:30–9:00 a.m. & 3:00–5:30 p.m. / 4:00 p.m. on Fridays

Lunch:  All children attending must provide a dairy/pareve lunch brought from home daily.
