Please try to attend some of the scheduled Rodef Shalom programs listed below, as they provide natural opportunities for you to introduce yourself.
- Wednesday, July 18: Finding God & Spirituality in the 21st Century, 11:00 a.m.
- Thursday, July 19: Tanakh & Tabloids, 11:00 a.m.
- Friday, July 20: Kabbalat Shabbat and Schmooze, 5:45 p.m.
- Saturday, July 21: Shabbat Morning Service and Kiddush, 9:30 a.m.
- Sunday, July 22: Minyan, 9:00 a.m.
- Friday, July 27: Kabbalat Shabbat Picnic in the Park, 5:00 p.m.
Another way to meet ...
Since there’s only one Rabbi Kobrin, and over 300 congregants, you may be interested in hosting a get-together of your own. These will take place from July through December. Perhaps consider hosting a small gathering of 8-16 members at your home. Here’s some ideas:
- Wine & Cheese Havdalah
- Sunday brunch
- Dessert and coffee evening
- Beer tasting on a patio
- Shabbat dinner
- Colorado snack & products
- Walk around a Denver park with a stop to chat midway
- Use your imagination! Write in your own idea
If you’re interested, fill out the form to the right. On the form include the guests you will invite. If we find they have already been invited to an event, we will let you know and will suggest other congregants who have not yet had the opportunity. Provide three possible dates. You will be notified of the date that is available on Rabbi Kobrin's calendar.
