Rodef Shalom is honored to co-sponsor and bring people to HEA for Mincha, Maariv, and a song circle with their scholar-in-residence, Deborah Sacks Mintz. As Shabbat winds down to a close, we'll explore singing as a spiritual practice through texts and melodies. Then, we'll keep the ruach going with Havdallah and an evening of spiritual music and communal singing. So, let's bid farewell to Shabbat with learning and song together with our friends and family at HEA.

The program is free, but please RSVP HERE, so enough refreshments can be provided.

A transformative prayer leader and musician, Deborah Sacks Mintz offers a fresh take on a deeply traditional sound. Deborah has become a major influence in the world of Jewish spiritual music over the past few years and is constantly traveling and sharing her talents. She is pursuing rabbinical ordination at the Jewish Theological Seminary and has strong Denver roots: her parents are members of Rodef Shalom, and her sister-in-law is Cantor Liz Sacks at Temple Emanuel.
