Hidden Meaning of the Kedusha

Tuesdays, 7:15-8:30pm - Aug 22, 29; Sept 5, 12, 2017 Co-taught by Rabbi Bernard Gerson and Marlene Richter Cost: $40 (includes all study materials, refreshments, and the special lecture during Week 2) Each session will be preceded by Minyan on the Move in the lobby from 6:30-7:15pm We will examine a short set of texts (e.g. Kaddish, Kedusha) that bear intrinsic holiness through their reputation and their parlance. Participants will utilize their Hebrew language skills in addition to the discussion of themes and context. Transliteration is available for those who are newer to Hebrew literacy. • Session Two: Hidden Meaning of the Kedusha o Guest Lecturer: Rabbi Ben-Zion Bar Ami Rabbi Ben Zion Bar-Ami is a Torah Scholar, and Kabbalist who will be visiting Denver during the second week of our class. Rabbi Bar Ami is also known for his unique Micrography art. After delivering his presentation, he will have items from his art collection for display and sale.
