Shabbat Share & Schmooze is a series of monthly informal presentations led by congregants who wish to share about a particular area of interest or expertise tied into a Jewish theme. This program is based on a series of Shabbat morning talks that were organized by congregants about two years ago, featuring topics like Jewish Pirates, Medical Ethics and Judaism, Jewish Life in 1940's Morocco, etc. The talks were very popular, and we are excited to bring them back! Join us in the Sukkah for our first Shabbat Share & Schmooze on Saturday, September 29 from 10:45 - 11:30 a.m., when Nora Murrell will speak about “Calendaring Time for Teshuvah.” Nora will discuss tips on how to connect our Jewish calendar cycle to that of our own personal and family calendaring and organization, while looking introspectively and finding ways to make the stars align.
