Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Alliance

Rodef Shalom has been building houses with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver for ten years. We are part of Habitat Interfaith Alliance (HIA), a group of 13 congregations whose mission is to utilize the energy and commitment of their faith communities to build homes with and for families in need, while building a foundation for interfaith trust, communication and understanding. The goal is to help qualified families with affordable housing, giving them "a hand up", not "a hand out". It is a wonderful group, and we have fun doing good works. There are 15 - 20 people who volunteer for one or another (or all!) of many fundraising events and for the build.
